Teen TV

Author: Once again, television taps into the film world and pulls out whatever is popular. Due to the “Twilight” popularity, there is now a teen TV show called, “Vampire Diaries” on the CW network. I like the show, as the vampires get to run around in daylight…just like the Cullens in Twilight did.
I missed an episode recently but watched enough clips on Youtube that I caught up with what happened quickly enough without having to watch the whole episode on the website. I’ve got WildBlue satellite internet service, so I can watch and download TV shows and movies pretty easily without them jumping and stopping. I love my Wild Blue internet! I just didn’t have time for the whole thing, so clips are good enough to catch up.
After all, the story lines are pretty predictable but they’re still suspenseful and of course the vampire brothers, Damon and Stefan Salvatore are very good looking; the lead female Elaina is very pretty with long, dark hair and her friends are all stunning as well.
We see some vampires get killed off and they do some flashbacks to when the main vampires were first “turned” during the Civil War era. I like the show and I hope it sticks around for a while. Too many shows seem to last only a season or two anymore.
